New Track: A Quiet Place (demo)
Managed to get my hands on Spitfire Audio’s BBC’s Symphony Orchestra software this afternoon.
I was in the middle of recording this track, when I got the email to say the software was available to me (signed up several days ago). So I downloaded it and decided to add a few strings to this track.
It’s very much work in progress and the mix (not to mention the timing), is a little off. But, for a free bit of software, it’s quite impressive. Can imagine it will work well with acoustic guitar.
I’m probably going to have another crack at recording this, as I originally imagined it as an acoustic number. And I only recorded this with an electric guitar because it’s the school holidays and if I were to attempt to record it on acoustically, you’d all be able to hear my son playing Fortnite on the Xbox and yelling at his mates.
Anyhow, I hope you like it.
