The Monday Sessions: 78 Stone Wobble (Gomez cover)
Part of The Monday SessionsAbout 78 Stone Wobble
Here’s a song that I used to rehearse years ago with a band I was in, so I know this track very well.
That said, it’s been a good 15 years since I played and sung it.
Originally, I had planned to keep this one pretty simple, with just a few ukulele tracks, but when I set the track up in the Acappella app, I realised that after 3 ukulele tracks, there wasn’t much else for me to do with it. So I decided to add a few more things.
There was quite a bit of trial and error with this, as I am not much of a drummer (nor a vocalist for that matter!), but needs must.
Instruments included on this recording are: a baritone ukulele, an Epiphone Wildkat guitar, an Epiphone Viola bass guitar, a Komplete Audio keyboard using a G-Force M-Tron Pro VST and a Roland TD6 drum kit. And of course, my stupid voice (apologies for that)…
Enjoy.
About The Monday Sessions
A quick introduction into what The Monday Sessions are all about; where I can, I'm planning on recording at least one of these every two weeks. I plan to record, edit and mix them, and have them ready on Mondays. 🙂

About Merry Xmas Everybody As John Lennon once sung, so this is Christmas... So yeah, as Christmas approached us this year, I began to consider whether I should bother recording a festive song or not. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas songs, most of them are...
